Application

Milliflex^® Cassette prefilled with Tryptic Soy Agar is used in Bioburden testing and general microbiological analysis of water especially high purity water (electronics, RO, distilled or purified). It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and brewing industry.

General description

Milliflex^® Cassette is ready to use agar-based media to be used with Milliflex^® or Milliflex Oasis^® system for convenient, rapid, and reliable bioburden testing. The prefilled agar cassette helps to streamline the microbial contamination testing workflow with quality assurance and avoiding risks of exogenous contamination. Each plate is a 3-piece assembly containing approximately 10ml of the media. Tryptic Soy Agar is a complex medium for the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. The formulation of the Tryptic Soy Agar medium contains a combination of casein and soymeal peptones supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids, and longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic equilibrium
