General description
Fox2, also referred to as RNA binding protein fox-1 homolog 2, is an RNA binding protein involved in the regulation of tissue-specific alternative splicing. This protein interacts with the ER-alpha N-terminal activation domain, and contains a highly conserved RRM (RNA recognition motif), which associates with 5′-UGCAUGU-3′ elements. This protein has been demonstrated to regulate alternative splicing of tissue specific exons and differentially spliced exons during erythropoiesis.
Immunogen
MBP-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to mouse Fox2.
