General description

Vitamin B₅ (di-β-alanine-¹³C₆,¹⁵N₂) calcium salt is also known as calcium pantothenate-[¹³C₆, ¹⁵N₂]. Vitamin B₅ (a B vitamin), also known as pantothenic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin found in animal and plant products. Vitamin B₅ deficiency causes dyslipidemia (abnormal levels of lipids in the blood) and dermatitis.
