It is one of the important components in the essential oils of leaves and fruits of green strawberry, Pinus L. Taxa, Bidens pilosa Linn. var. Radiata, etc. (−)-Isoledene is also identified as one of the key components in Urtica dioica L. plant and exhibits anti-repellent biological activity.
